Wednesdays 8-10pm, B2.13/4
What’s better than dancing at our ceilidhs twice a term? Dancing every week of course! That is our intention in a new event for Warwick Folk: a dance club. We will have a live caller and live musicians every week, both from among our members and guests from the wider folk world (look out for names you may know) led by our resident caller and musician Vic Smith.
Anyone is welcome, whether you have never heard of folk dancing before and want to give it a try, or you are a hardcore ceilidh veteran. Come along and learn new styles and moves to make dancing more fun that you thought it could be. And it’s a great chance to meet and get to know new people through the uniquely sociable atmosphere of ceilidh. Followed by, of course, our ubiquitous after-trip to a bar!
