Every summer many of us meet up at various festivals across the country. Here is a selection of some of the most popular!

Towersey Village Festival
Towersey Village Festival is an annual festival of folk and world music and traditional dance held in the village of Towersey in Oxfordshire, England. It has taken place every August bank holiday weekend since its founding in 1965.

Sidmouth Folk Week
If you’ve been to Sidmouth Festival before, you’ll know what it’s all about: music, singing, dancing, pub sessions, learning something new, cream teas, concerts, seeing your favourite bands, discovering your new favourite bands, crab sarnies, storytelling, lying on the beach, dancing the night away at Late Night Extra, and sitting up late on the campsite with your brand new best friends.

Bromyard Folk Festival
Bromyard Folk Festival host in excess of 75 events with hundreds of performers taking part in the festival which is based in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Each year there is an enormous array of: morris sides, workshops, dance displays, children's entertainment, craft fair, dance instructionals, real ale bars, food, pub sessions etc.

Warwick Folk Festival
Singers and musicians, street entertainers and Morris dancers - it seems that anybody and everybody who enjoys folk music heads for Warwick in July each year.

Chippenham Folk Festival
Chippenham Folk Festival is now in its 38th successful year. Although it has seen many changes since its beginnings in Lacock all those years ago, it still retains its 'village' atmosphere, providing three and a half days packed with song, dance, workshops and dance displays. Over 200 events take place within the town centre, turning the whole town into a giant party!
